A Day in London / The Pop Up Flea
I boarded the red eye from Belfast to London on Saturday morning! The main purpose of my trip was to attend The Pop Up Flea but I also took the opportunity to visit a few great stores while I was there – it’s important to mix business with pleasure…
First on the list was the Tricker’s store to stock up on some yellow / brown shoe laces.
Second stop was to The Pop Up Flea. Find out more here … www.thepopupflea.com
Pictured above is Alan Maleh, Man of the World’s Publisher and Editor in Chief and I. Find out more about Man of the World here… www.manoftheworld.com
I then had a late morning brew with Daniel Giacopelli, Monocle 24 Producer. We had a great chat about Loft Trading and the concept behind our brand and unique pieces. Daniel even managed to squeeze in a radio interview for one of his upcoming shows The Entrepreneurs. Visit Monocle here… www.monocle.com
Then onto Dover Street Market to check out the store and the Inventory Items on the ground floor.
On my way to the Marylebone area I walked up Saville Row where I was fortunate to spot a tailor working hard in the basement!
In Marylebone I dropped into the amazing Trunk Clothiers and Trunk Labs and I wasn’t disappointed… this is a great store! A mint tea in The Monocle Cafe was the perfect way to quench my thirst after a lot of walking!
Very tired feet in London Victoria Station, where I caught the train back to the airport.
A great day for Loft Trading – thanks to everyone who took the time to meet with me.
